Instead of Windows 7 Folder Background Changer we’ve discussed on previous post, some users might prefer to use this tool because of its ability to integrate with folder properties in Windows Explorer. It has the same features from applying the folder background change to the subfolders, changing text color, adding shadow to text–this shadow text is only visible if you view folder in icon mode, and removing the picture background to restore the boring white empty background.

It’s called AveFolderBG. To install the program, find and right-click the Install file (.bat file) and select Run as administrator. Click Yes and then Ok for the prompt.
To change a folder background, you just need to navigate to the folder, right-click an empty area and select “Properties”. Or, you can just right-click the folder and select “Properties”.

On the folder’s properties, you will see a tab named Folder Background. All of the features you need to change the look of your folder background is right there. Make some changes, click the Apply button and see if the change fits your taste. If not, you can simply select another picture for the background.
AveFolderBG is available for download for both Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit.
