If you’re searching for the fastest way to convert PDF files to images, or images to PDF pages, you should put this freeware into your consideration. It lets you do both the conversion right from Windows explorer using the right-click menu. This utility only supports JPEG image format, but you can convert the images to another ones like PNG later on using an image conversion utility. In the process of the conversion, there is no any window opened nor any progress bar. The conversion occurs instantly after you execute the command from the right-click menu in Windows explorer.
Convert PDF to Images
Forget it if you want to convert only selected pages from your PDF file. The only available option is to convert all pages of a PDF document at once. Right-click a PDF file, select “Quick PDF Tools” menu, and select “PDF to Image”. All pages of it will be converted to JPEG images at once and the result of the conversion will all be put in a new folder created automatically by the program. You can only pick one PDF file at a time to be converted.
Convert Image to PDF
Unlike the PDF to image conversion feature, this one enables you to convert multiple images at once. Select or highlight all the images that you want to convert, select “Quick PDF Tools” menu, and select “Image to PDF” option. Every selected image will be converted to a single PDF file. This application also provides PDF merge feature if you want to merge any of the PDF files resulted from the conversion.
Unfortunately, the developer doesn’t mention the image formats supported in converting image to PDF. It only converts to JPEG when you convert a PDF file to images, but apparently it is more than JPEG formats that this program supports when converting an image to a PDF file. I tried to convert a PNG image and it worked.
Actually, Quick PDF Tools is a lot more than a simple PDF to image or image to PDF converter. It provides many other features that all can be accessed from the right-click menu in Windows explorer.
