You can start splitting your mp3 file by loading it into the application. Use the “mark start” button to mark the start of the track that you want to cut and “mark end” to mark the end of the mp3 track. You can change the bitrate before starting to split. Once the mp3 file is ready, hit the “direct save” button. Another option, “convert save”, lets you to split the mp3 file and save the result as one of the following format files: WAV, AAC, WMA, FLAC, M4A or AC3.

Optionally, just to be sure that you have already marked the right track, you can use the “play selected” function to play only the part that you’ve marked. Split MP3 was designed to run under Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista.
