If you want to install a new flash player version, you must first uninstall the old flash player. However, uninstalling flash player through the standard uninstallation procedure can sometimes be, unfortunately, problematic. To help users completely uninstall flash player plugin, Adobe developes a specific uninstaller program, which is called Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller.
To make sure that Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller can completely remove flash player plugin, you have to close all programs that are using the plugin. If there is a program that makes use of the plugin still running in the background when you’re executing the uninstallation, you’ll have to repeat the uninstallation.
