Extend Windows System Partition Step by Step

Geeks - To extend the Windows system partition, you will need to use the built-in Disk Management tool in Windows. Here are the steps to follow:

Press the Windows key and type "disk management" in the search box. Click on "Create and format hard disk partitions" to open the Disk Management tool.

Right-click on the partition that you want to extend and select "Extend Volume" from the menu.

In the Extend Volume Wizard, click "Next" to accept the default settings. This will automatically select the maximum available space on the disk to extend the partition.

Click "Next" again and then click "Finish" to complete the process. The system partition will now be extended to include the additional space on the disk.

Keep in mind that in order to extend the system partition, you must have unallocated space on the same disk. If you do not have any unallocated space, you will need to shrink another partition on the same disk to create some unallocated space.
